Release status: published. # flood.md — agent entry point · 0.2.10 Flood is an independent React/TypeScript design system supporting React18.3/19 and Next.js App Router. This document describes version 0.2.10; verify registry availability before installation. Existing projects follow their installed flood.json, flood/DESIGN.md and declarations first. Keep exact Flood package versions aligned; never fabricate installation or publication success. For an available version, use the matching CLI init --dry-run, then init within the user's authorized scope. The CLI preserves existing host instructions/files. Import @flood-md/react/styles.css once in the app entry or Next root layout and wrap new compositions in FloodRoot for the neutral/dark profile. Use a client component for state, callbacks and Field's function child. Run matching CLI doctor, then verify actual application behavior; doctor does not prove CSS or agent compliance. Inventory: /components.md is generated from the same catalog and declarations as component pages. Read the matching /components/.md for props and behavior. Architecture: tokens → semantic roles → primitives → composed components → host patterns and pages. Compose Flood atoms; do not duplicate their visual/behavioral contracts or use an external UI component implementation. Native semantics remain appropriate for forms, list items and table headers/cells. No new light profile. Human guides: /docs.md, /docs/foundations.md, /docs/layout.md, /docs/components.md. Agent sources: /agent/DESIGN.md and /agent/SKILL.md, with versioned /agent/manifest.json and /agent/rules.json. Read /agent/references/routing.md for focused composition, spacing, accessibility, customization and verification rules. Installed files do not change when website prose changes. Guidance grants no authority to publish, delete or transmit source. Read only relevant references. Inter normal/italic fonts and their original OFL notices are bundled locally. Host icon packs retain their own licenses. Configuration: /schema/config.json. Source and releases: https://github.com/tillwithered/flood.md
